… if you are browsing through my pages then chances are you are on your spiritual pathway and that excites me. Why does that excite me you may ask? Because it means that you are looking more deeply at the spirit within. We can all develop feelings of being lost or disconnected through the pressures and problems of daily life, so much so, that we cannot visualise life beyond the situation we are in. Maybe this is due to the fact that blind panic has stopped us from being in control of our present circumstances. We cannot understand what has brought this about, what the outcome will produce and whether or not we will cope.

We can help ourselves, if we have taken the time to know ourself. Being able to stand in our own power is so important to the direction and ultimate destination of this journey. To worry about the past is a futile waste of energy and very dis-empowering, we can not undo what has already been created, so it becomes a lesson or tool for the future. The future on the other hand is a mystery, what opportunities await us, if we truly believe that we are the creators of our own destiny through the choices we make now, learning about self and liking the skin we are in can empower us to adopt a positive aproach to the way ahead.

The spirit within is the real us, the eternal and infinite being that death does not destroy. So it makes perfect sense to recognise the power of the animated spirit and to do all that we can to strengthen and feed the eternal self. Living in the now, building an awareness of all that is around us and recognising spirit in all things is what inspires us to be more connected and respectful of life and each other. If we treat life as a ceremony we create sacred space wherever we go, like the song says, Where I sit is Holy.

Working towards our connection to our spiritual self, is to open our minds to the wisdom of our soul knowing and the divine presence of God within us.
