The 3 Musketeers - John, Maureen, Jaqui The 3 Musketeers - John, Maureen, Jaqui

This photograph is of myself and two of my most trusted friends and collegues. We work together as a team on the Native American and Shamanic week at the Arthur Findlay College. We have a great common bond, and that is the passion we share for the work that we do. Up to date, we have never had a week that we havent as a team thouroughly enjoyed, and learned from. I thank all those who come to join us in our journey of learning, life is good because our paths have crossed.

The nature of Ghosts and Spirits in a Haunting

I am in the process of setting up a web site dedicated to the investigation of Paranormal Phenomena, as in Ghosts and Hauntings of selected locations across the UK and Europe. Hauntings have been experienced by people from all walks of life and from just about every part of the globe, through out all ages. Through these investigation we will look at the validity of Orbs, Ghosts, Apparitions, Poltergeist, Apports, The movement of objects and EVP (electronic voice phenomena ).

Two New workshops to add to The Shamanic Path personal journey.Drum Making workshop - Dreaming the Drum

I am working with a collegue who is a very fine Drum Maker, we are putting together some weekend workshops for 2010 & 2011, this will involve students in the making of their own 15 inch Deer hide drum. I have wanted this for some time now as I feel very strongly that the Drum is such a valuable asset to the Shamanic Journey, I think it even becomes our companion. To make our own Shamanic tools is a very powerful exercise, because we put our own energy into the creation of the tool itself. And as the Drum will be a tool that we work with for pesonal progress, it makes sense to be there at the birth of such a tool. Once the Drum is made we will show you how to honour it through ceremony, drum dedication and shamanic ritual, and how to call forth the power of the Drum.

When we have our plain drum, some students want to paint their own symbology onto the drum, the best and most powerful symbolic image to put on our drum is that which has come to us in a vision, a dream, through meditation and asking the guidance of those in the spirit world that take care of us.

Hence the Dreaming the Drum workshop is about making drum journeys to seek the help and guidance of our helpers, our power animals and even our ancestors.

With the influences we recieve from our guides/helpers, power & totem animals we are likely to be given a symbolic image that has deeper spiritual and personal transformation significance. For this reason I encourage you to look for/seek your own vision and do not allow yourself to believe that what comes to you is of less importance that the vision recieved through some other medium.

Women's Retreat - ME-WOMAN - Seattle USA. 12-19 May 2012

Co-Ordinator  Linda Silvas (Little Tree ) Juaneno Band of Missionary Indians.

Native American Footprints was created by Linda to bring together a cultural programme to help intensify the woman within. Re-connect with the tribal power of woman. When we come together to re-join the circle of female wisdom we reconnect with our own worth. We will live in the encampment, learn traditional cooking, Morning Meditations, Honour the 4 directions, Womens Healing ceremony, Story telling, Drum Making & Blessing, Native Feather Art, Basket Making, Gathering of Drums, Cermenoy to honour women all over the planet. We will plant a Cedar tree as a gift to Mother Earth, as traditions tell that the wood of the Cedar tree holds powerful protective spirits, this is the Native way.

Maureen Murnan - Contact whitefox20@ntlworld.com

www.spectrum-of-the-spirit-.co.uk  to book a place from the UK or Europe. This is a tribal, native experience not a tourist package. We will be living in wooden cabins in a forest that goes down to the Ocean, Walking and out door activities will be a big part of the trip weather permiting. There will also be a day trip to the rain forest. Workshops will take place indoors if the weather turns wet. Cooking and eating will be out doors if possible. The cabins are not en-suite, toilets and showers are in a block close by.

This is an opportunity to get away from all that rules every minute of our waking day, we will rise when we want, sleep when we are tired, we will step off and forget the clock. Getting back to the appreciation of a sun rise or sun set, sitting around the camp fire and learning how to express the tribal woman within.

This trip is limited to just 12 Women, after that it will be closed. We already have a few places taken so contact Maureen if you want a place. Money is sent direct to Linda, via Pay Pal. You will recieve more details and itinerary on booking. Any Questions please feel free to ask.
